The volunteer activities carried out by IsraCorps volunteers necessitate complex organizational arrangements and coordination among the many concerned parties. Currently, about 650 volunteers from diverse population groups are engaged in some 55 communities. Every volunteer is assigned to a specific framework for the morning hours (IsraCorps works with 10 placement partners), while the afternoon assignments are coordinated with their original youth movement or other 'home' organization
(currently 5).
The IsraCorps staff, in conjunction with the youth and other movements, provides professional responses to the volunteers in the field on a day-to-day basis for matters concerning their activities. The topics can range from placement and daily contact with the schools, coordinating IsraCorps' activities with that of the youth movements, guiding volunteer core groups in the field, contacts with the local authorities and other relevant parties in the community, all the way to real time solutions for immediate problems that arise.
IsraCorps' organizational structure facilitates the provision of ongoing guidance and individualized responses to each volunteer. Every three or four core groups have an assigned IsraCorps guidance counselor. All these counselors are subordinate to the field managers (southern district, northern district or Arab sector).
