| IsraCorps is a new volunteer program for selected high-school graduates and college students from around the world to join Israeli peers for one year of volunteering in Israel. The Israeli counterparts are high school graduates who are volunteering for one year of community service (“Shnat Sherut”) and Young professional Israelis who work in the field of education and social action.
IsraCorps volunteers will be trained to answer real needs of Israel society: teach and mentor Israel’s children and youth in deprived neighborhoods. IsraCorps provides training, mentoring and enrichment program during the entire year of service.
IsraCorps' enrichment program includes workshops and hands-on experiences
that focus on learning Hebrew, becoming more familiar with Israeli society, developing leadership skills, delving into facets of equality and social justice, along with experiencing the scenery and history of Israel.
